We’re looking for a new social media volunteer!

The Sandhills Race Series is currently seeking a volunteer to help with social media. Responsibilities will include mostly Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Word Press blogging. We are looking for someone who is already familiar with these programs. [Word Press is the exception, as long as you are willing to learn!] It is very important for you to be passionate about running and a participant in SRS events. An awesome perk of this volunteer position is that you will be granted free entry to all races!

Ultimately, your responsibility will be to share the details of SRS news and upcoming races on the blog and promote them via Facebook and Twitter. Pinterest is where you are able to show your love of running, through tips, inspirational quotes, and even jokes. These responsibilities can be managed from home in your spare time. This is a great opportunity for someone who already loves to blog, post, tweet, and pin, to learn more about social media from a professional standpoint, and to meet race directors and see the work that goes on at the awesome organizations SRS races benefit.

While I have very much enjoyed my experience doing social media for SRS, it’s time for me to move on. Such is military life!
